Rawhide Motel

This motel was the perfect fit for our hunting trip. The owners were exceptionally welcoming, and readily available each time we locked our keys in the room. Room layouts varied and worked out great for our group. I roomed with someone who snored, but my bed was walled off (with a door) so it didn’t keep me up and we each had our own private space. The motel is walking distance from a family dollar and a restaurant, but is right across the street from a bar that also sells beer and liquor to go. Next door to the hotel is a taxidermist/game processor, which was also very convenient. We will definitely be staying at the Rawhide when we return next year.

My family stayed at the Rawhide for a couple nights while we dealt with a breakdown, and we could not be more satisfied with our experience here. The owners were super friendly and made the time to talk with us and make us feel welcome. For every question and request we had, they were very helpful and accommodating. And my bedding smelled amazing, better than my own laundry does! I highly recommend this motel to anyone passing through. The owners really care about this place and it shows!

My fiance and family were gonna go on a trip to California, but after our transmission went out in Evanston Wyoming, we were stranded for 3 days and were struggling there in Wyoming before we found a way back. We stopped here at 4am and she woke up to get us a room at a awesome price, sadly we only got 4 hours of sleep in because I wanted to get home already but honestly thank you so much I highly recommend because of how friendly, kind and welcoming you were. So let's just say Jamie and Chris are amazing host!!!! My room was so clean, and comfortable, I slept like a dream, also you can get your hair done, Jamie is a great stylist I absolutely love her!! I will be back in 6-8 weeks to have my hair done again, and to sleep like a dream....... You must stop in and say Hello, and spend the night.... Would give a 10 if I could!...... Also an added touch if you let them know that you drink coffee, they will make you some it's in the lobby but worth putting on your robe and heading over to get a cup, and say good morning ......

Really nice place with nice people in a great little town. Big, comfortable, quiet room with all the necessary amenities. The parking is a little cramped so if you're in a bigger rig or have a trailer, you might want to check out your parking options before you arrive. There is a market in town with hot and cold deli so you don't need to eat microwave meals unless you choose to. There is a nice little coffee place (drive up or walk up) about a block away.

Had an unexpected layover in town. I had heard good things about this hotel. Everything I heard was true. Friendly people and great price! The rooms were simple but comforting. Reminded me of traveling as a kid with my Dad in the 70s. Loved the room!

We rode from Colorado Springs on our way to Sturgis Bike Rally. The owners were extremely nice. Very people person, friendly. The rooms were very clean, mattresses was excellent, comfy. I definitely will stay there again. I say 5 star quality all the way. Shani And Clint

The people who just bought the Rawhide are fun and giving people. My room was super comfy, great rate, and clean. The owner even does haircuts. The best haircuts. That’s why I was there. I flew from NY to visit family in Laramie and then I drove 3 hours just to get a haircut from her and to stay at The Rawhide. That how good her haircuts are. Totally worth the trip. My hair looks great and I slept like a dream. I’ll be back in a few months and can’t wait to stay at The Rawhide again. Thanks you guys!
